The Navy has selected HP PCs as part of its refresh of the OCONUS (outside the continental United States) Navy Enterprise Network, the company announced.
The ONE-Net delivery order, part of the Navy’s refresh deal with Integration Technologies Group, covers a two-year base period with a two-year option, and is not to exceed $40 million.
HP products, including EliteBook notebook PCs, and Elite tablets and desktops, will replace the current systems at domestic and international bases. The EliteBook and Elite tablets have passed MIL-STD 810G testing for vibration, dust, shock, altitude, high temperature, low temperature, temperature shock, humidity and drops, the company said. HP also said its PCs go through 115,000 hours of performance trials.
ONE-Net is an initiative to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end information and telecommunication services to OCONUS Navy shore commands forces at 14 overseas fleet bases and stations in the Far East, the Middle East and Europe.
